lol, of course we went for the win, but with our weaker 6th man, giving them 6 easier games was never going to be easy.
I'm confident on the return leg, if me and dav can find a partnership or maybe ian and dav it should be interesting. With dave and pete playing really well together this season it makes it easier to build up the other 2 pairs however we never practice so that can be quite hard to pick pairs! : s
i'm defintley more of a mixed player at the moment, my mens defence hasn't been there so far this season, smashing is good and consistant tho : )
Played y club last night and won 18-0, they played very well with some close games but i can see them going down this year. Hope everyone has a good xmas, looking forward to the second half of the season Bryn will be the team to beat!!= )

Hey guys now that seemed like one tough match, and now Bryn have to take the return or that's it for another year. As for Sutton .....well we are top of the second division mixed, but our men have lost a couple of games so we are going to get battered in the men's. The young lads will do their best I know they have to play a higher std of player to improve but I worry for them. It's a major issue with confidence at the moment and Craig and Michael have been concentrating on exams uni work, so have not been playing much. Well my mate Tommy what are you going to do about this result, I really thought you would do it. I mean with spunny almost retired and degs washing the dishes you should of won?????

Thanks for the news Tommo. A good close game it would appear. Couldn't make it myself as I wanted to watch Robson Green in Extreme Swimming.
Looks like the ICI team that got chosen in the end was from the younger part of the squad. There are a number of ... erm ... "more senior" players that are in the first team squad, so you may get a different style of match come the rematch.
Good job the match was not at ICI yesterday ... the school took the hall off us for exams.

anyways was a good game last night, ICI the deserved winners 12-6 it finished, only 4 games away from the win, with 6 22-20 games and a missing 6th man should be interesting in the return leg however unless sutton get in that ringer team they had me thinks ICI has won the league, as 'when' we beat them in april me thinks they will still win on game difference.

danny finn & gareth perrins 5 ian cross & antony pratt 4 the johnson brothers 3
dave & pete played really well only being 4 points away from getting all 6 games, myself and john (who have actually never played together) need a few more games of practice and our 3rds didnt really get that close.
It was quite a strong team ICI put out, maybe if they included deg's ; ) it may have been stronger. Y club on thursday and thats it for the year.

Well guys Mr Davenport is right, there is some rubbish on this message board.....Spunny has never changed in 100 years I have known him........ and my mate Tommy thinks Sutton are a threat lol now that's funny. But we are trying to improve the squad and that transfer window may open next season if we can afford the wages. Now lets talk some sense on here ICI and Bryn you know you are the 2 best teams so give us the names and the pairings so we can prepare...... Yea I thought so, no bottle.
